Prime 4 - Stuck on Engine DJ logo on any version after initial 5.0.1 update

Not one you can walk into & you have to wait until something becomes available because they rely on units that get sent in, either from rental, store displays, open box returns or faulty units which they give all units a once over then resell if it’s fixed & sellable.

I’ll be honest atm they haven’t got a lot in (3 items)

but over the last 6-8 months I’ve seen prime 4 & prime 4+ both black and white, sc live 2 & 4 some Rane equipment, mixers.

Items come & go so I keep an eye things.

Also this might be a uk/eu thing due to our consumer rights where a lot of electrical equipment gets returned for all types of reasons so most manufacturers do this.

Gives you a piece of mind, I’d rather pay a little extra for something 2nd hand from a reputable dealer with a warranty than buying it off some unknown bloke who claims it’s new but they only opened the box to take pictures & it’s never been used at gigs

Yup, I would say you covered all possible options with this one.

Considering it’s the original Prime 4, as you say in perfect condition, with very old firmware out of the box - I would say this could be a hardware problem connected to unit not being used for a very long time. Reminded me of this topic TBH: Bricked Prime Go Support Needed - #33 by Soulframe

yeah, 2 days ago now unfortunately… radio silence so far. Hope someone reaches out soon, cause I’d even be willing to pay for a repair. All shops I contacted said I’ve already done everything they’d do.
