My father has a Tesla and a RR Wraith. The Tesla he bought to have self driving in the future while getting comfortable on the current platform. For his wraith, updated powertrain settings and handling settings are promised in a future update. Honda is more of the Gemini of the automotive industry, so it’s easy for them to sell products that are 5 years behind the curve at affordable prices.
That’s even worse. You’ve had all your Prime gear since each was first released, didn’t come onto the forum until just this past summer, are oblivious to many of their early (and even current) issues and the efforts that have been made on this forum to fix them, and are dismissive of the issues you are now aware of? Wow. Are you sponsored by InMusic or something? How would you possibly get some of the first units in Europe and they all just so happen to be perfectly functioning hardware-wise (from some special lot with additional QA?)… to say nothing of the software issues that should have been present on yours (including the M motor problem) regardless of where you got them?
Hah hah. That’s mean to Honda. Honda is way more reliable than Gemini. Gemini apparently may never put out an original product ever again after the MDJ line they fouled up and then prematurely abandoned. Gemini’s only consistent recent sales seem to be just re-badges of finished ODM products they find at tradeshows. Not trying to favorably compare Honda to Tesla or anything, though.
No one sponsored me nothing, that was my own investment. How they are working fine? Well, I am a user that can read and understands technology. That should be enough. Most of the issues I see with engine prime and SC5000/5000M players are user related and misuse… I don’t say there are no problems from hardware it self, but all the wining and complaining is very user related…
True. lol. Those latest two Gemini mixers are a joke at best too. Maybe I shouldve used Behringer as the analogy instead.
User-related? Problems with the hardware and software. You’ve been dismissive REPEATEDLY of the problems and the work done to get it to the point it is. And you’ve been on this forum less than a year contributing… if that’s what we want to actually call a big chunk of what you do on here. Bizarre.
I didn’t know about the forum from the start of denon dj prime series. But I was having the devices. Is that a strange thing to buy the decks and not look over the internet for anything related when everything works perfectly?
PRIME’S NEVER WORKED PERFECTLY, and it used to be much worse. Your explanation isn’t convincing, and neither is your reasoning for why people are wrong you’ve been arguing with.
I have no need to explain my self to You. I am a happy user of the devices, never had problems with my Prime decks and I am happy that way. I was also happy with my nexus setup, back in the days, but I sold it to take the step forward from pioneers stagnation. All my gear works great and I hope it will stay that way.
From the very beginning. Right. That dog don’t hunt, boy.
Same, got mine 2 months after they came out and (touch wood) never had an issue with them, they just get better and better with each software update (just need loop pre-load now).
It would be good wise information to everyone for me to say that you mustn’t annoy Reticuli
If you do, he might be silent towRd you publicly on the forum but then privately he might send you what he sent to me cowardly as can be seen below
J
Well, we’ll see if that happens.
Not if I can help it, but some of you have an official warning already, so just keep things a bit civilized.
Perhaps I need to mention that this is going WAY off-topic. Discussion no problem, but looking at the subject…
He’s certainly very odd in his aggressive behaviour towards the others on the forum, though is clearly very knowledgeable and passionate about his music. Each to their own I suppose.
A good question now then in keeping with the original topic title, is that if any manufacturers did have some new plastic fantastic things to show off, but the public and trade shows are of course now cancelled because of corona virus, would we think it’s better that they delay the launch of those new things until people can see them and play with them at shows and exhibitions or should product releases just go ahead at the original proposed dates online and by email instead?
That PM was a result of a number of personal attacks by Julianus against me on this forum that I brought to the attention of the admins and also even brought up with Reese at the time prior to him even being a mod. Several of those original posts are gone. The admins had a talk with him at the time. So unless you guys want to dredge up the actual posts he made somehow, you might want to put your assessments of that message in check.
Hope yall ok.
Everyone has a point.
Fact 2: The Sc5000 and Engine Prime was the best thing since slice bread (i prefer Agege bread tbh) since launch for some people (folks like the “very unbiased” @DJ_Boothe and @Ms_DayZee …I wonder what they are both up to these days)
Fact 1: The SC5000 and Engine Prime was not good enough for some people at launch (I am in this cohort)
Fact 3: Denon is working their a$$ to further improve the experience for both cohorts (This is the most important bit)
StaySafeStayWell
And that didn’t go well for you either. When o reported your behaviour to a member of Denon DJ staff, they confirmed that you’re widely disliked.
As for the issues people have said they had… people claiming they’ve had the gear from the beginning and there have never been any major issues… I’d direct you to Laidback Luke ACTUALLY using the Ms in a video on YouTube and experiencing the motor speed up issue while we were discussing that exact thing on this forum here. I don’t know how, for instance, you could have owned them from the beginning and never have noticed that. Things have DRASTICALLY improved with Prime, but some of this dismissiveness on what people have been through with this gear seems based on fantasy, and frankly, some of the claims being made are not convincing at all. If you’ve got one or two non-Ms you’ve gotten recently, I can totally understand everything seeming rosy, but having non-Ms, Ms, mixer, all from the beginning of their releases and dissing people for pointing out it’s been a rough ride and more improvement really is necessary for Pioneer to really be in big danger? I don’t think that’s an outrageous statement that was previously made. You might disagree with it… heck, I disagree with it. I think in some ways Pioneer is already under threat. Not completely. Not existentially. But in some ways, sure. There’s a debate to be had there, but there have been a lot of growing pains with Prime. Those of us who can prove we’ve had this stuff for a while and found these issues and brought them to InMusic’s attention, we don’t appreciate being demeaned as if it never happened as the rest of you enjoy the fruits of these labors.
My posts in that conversation didn’t disappear. They’re still there and violated no community rules.
