Dose the prime 4 plus send midi out of USB, stagelinq, or Ableton link when in regular standalone mode. I’m trying to control effects in resolume.

@aaaguy @PKtheDJ It only sends bpm/play head position and fader position to resolume via stagelinq. I’m trying to control dashboard effects via the eq knobs and fx knobs. Only way to do so is if the controller sends out midi and then I assign those knobs to parameters within resolume.

I guess in theory the Prime 4 could output MIDI from the USB A ports via a USB-MIDI dongle, but at the rate Denon add customer requests, it would be a long time coming (if ever).

I don’t see why they can’t make it output midi in standalone mode. It’s most likely already outputting midi to the built in operating system to control everything. They just need to add a slider in settings for midi pass through out of the USB-B

If I understand you guys correctly… The idea that I could set up something to happen when I press my Sample pad, in addition to the sample being played, would be really cool. I think you are setting up way more advanced stuff than this, but even something simple like this would be incredible.

Your best bet is probably an Akai LPD8 or similar.
