How do I rollback the hardware update for the Prime Go?

I can no longer change the beat jump size without going into the settings. Thanks in advance.

The user manual says this:

All of this not working on your console?

^ It always worked as you described until I ran the latest update today, now the beat jump size cannot be changed on the fly, only in the settings.

I guess this is my answer:

I hate to say this, but are the devs familiar with Dj-ing at all? It’s such a basic feature, the most basic actually.

What was the version in which you got it working right? Instead what is the version in which you get the defect?

@DjAj Since Engine OS 2.3.0 beat jump is broken on the Prime Go (and was instead moved to a setting - it can no longer be controller via the regular hardware knobs).

The only workaround right now is to downgrade to 2.2.2.

Here is the/a feature request for this problem: https://community.enginedj.com/t/prime-go-beat-jump-size-adjustment-directly-on-the-device-bring-feature-back/44189/30

As @JWiLL from inMusic has confirmed here:

…there is a fix coming. Let’s hope it comes very soon… So far there has been two or three point updates without a solution implemented.

Hi mate, how do I rollback to 2.2.2?

Is it even possible?

Cheers, N

Just go to the Engine downloads section and you have access to previous firmware updates. Just pick the one you want and install it via flash drive or over usb/computer. Easy as that!

Of course! Easy, thank you. I now have a normal beat jumping back :+1:

Great that you got it sorted. If anyone else reads this and need to downgrade until the Prime Go gets the promised fix, here’s a link to a guide (just replace the Prime 4 image with the Prime Go image: Prime Go Engine OS 2.2.2 direct link → -> → https://imb-cicd-public.s3.amazonaws.com/Engine/2.2.2/Release/EOS/435be138f0/PRIMEGO-2.2.2-Update.img )
