How did you build up your high end (club/event level) setup?

Similar story to yours here. Took me two decades of various setups starting with Technics 1200’s, then Serato DVS (when it was in its infancy), then various digital controllers (Numark/Pioneer), and onto my current ‘high end’ digital/analog hybrid setup of SC6000m’s and an Allen & Heath PX5.

Patience is a virtue, and being able to resell the well-cared-for old gear to achieve your dream setup helps!

me too: A & H Xone 96 - best mixer around , built like a tank, best faders around, nearly nothing that can be damaged and if, you can change faders easily (never needed to swap out any) - and the overwhelming, xtraordinary one-of-a-kind warm A&H Sound
