yes, freezing since the update to 4.0 has been reported by several users on this forum and the bug report has reached the Denon DJ team. They are working on a fix:

Hello, I just received the following email from Alex at Denon support: Thanks for reaching out to Engine DJ technical support! “We have confirmed the behavior you and others have reported as a bug and are currently working on a fix. I can confirm the behavior is set to be resolved in the next version of Engine DJ.
