Just use a stereo pair of the RCAs for each connecting digitally. You can leave the other stereo pair sealed in each box.
By the way, the mixers are so reasonably priced, you might as well snag one up, too.
I did think about one of the mixers. But honestly, they are huge and very complicated for my requirments. I will, in the future, probably sell the RX3 (I wish I had never bought) and get another mixer. Although, having looked at the Denon vs. Pioneer I think I would prefer an A&H. I honestly don’t understand how a XONE92 can be cheaper than a Denon (or Pioneer), although I think that if I do have a dsp mixer, I would go for the DJM450, which is basically the same as my RX3’s mixer section. Although, what I want, really is an analogue mixer, like a XONE62, or something old school, or even rotary like a Vestax PMC. I keep considering, even making one - now that would be seriously cool!
Shortages and they’re sought after because they integrate so well with the Prime players. Also don’t disregard just getting SC5000Ms and an X1800 for like US$3000ish new, or cheaper used.
