Agreed. It’s not about always using effects but if max effects didn’t sound good then why would anyone use it. It’s just a waste.
The flanger ■■■■■ that much im thinking about getting a older pioneer effects unit (efx-500) !

The flanger on Denon DJ gear is how a usual flanger sounds in nearly all the software and hardware out there. The only exception to this sound is Pioneer DJ products as their flanger sounds a little different. It’s a signature of their flanger.
The problem with this is that most people are accustomed to hearing the “Pioneer sound” so much (being the standard in clubs), it sounds like this is how it should sound.
It’s a nice sound but it’s very unique to Pioneer DJ gear only. It’s an engineered sound.
