hmm, spare components are just another item in the warehouse that gets replenished when out of stock… There is ofcourse the VAT/tax/local regulations issue which has to be respected, and those arguments stick, no matter what. But every argument from the manufacturers perspective can be countered with “you are prohibiting it because you find it convenient or more profitable”.
I’m still with “There are lots of brands who have one international warranty system”. Those may or may not be bigger brands.
I talked to EM Nordic, who is the reseller in Sweden, and they offered to sell an original, flimsy replacement fader for the same price as an Innofader.
So I’ll get the better third-party solution instead and I’ll be done with the issue.
