I had a browse over the email. It looks pretty good.

No doubt the splitting tool will trickle into Engine Desktop at some point.

I rather like the Pay per upgrade idea - I’d have liked to have kept some firmware upgrade inclusions on prime separate from the regular firmware.

Maybe this is one of the reasons why the profiles and account login was added to an Engine OS? It’s plausible that it’s on the way at some point already. The infrastructure behind it has been (sort of) added.

Has it been added to the devices yet or just the desktop?

The original announcement in January stated that it would be added to standalone devices at a later date.

I’m a little concerned by that and haven’t gone for that, just incase a some central server at InMusic hanging one night, or one weekend stops everyone accessing all the other services eg: tidal etc

IMO (and that of many other experienced DJs) nobody should rely entirely on a streaming service, such that it becomes impossible to play at an event if the service is not available.
