Ok thanks for explanation now I’m smarter because you learn me new thing’s
To know which deck is playing, I use “On Air” mode and I set 65 seconds for the end of track indicator and I don’t load 4 decks in advance, I mostly use 2 decks and as for any music to be played in continuity… I place them in “Prepare” and finally I do not use the physical Load A and Load B buttons and nor the large rotary button to navigate and enter a playlist folder, I use the touch screen to go to the “Browse” library and I scroll with the screen to navigate through my folders and I swipe to the right to load a deck and there at least, I can see “the” or “the” decks that would be playing.
I’ve been doing this since 2019 with my P4, then with my PGO and recently the P4+.
85% of my evenings are only weddings and 13% are birthdays and 2% are dinner dances.
Everyone has their own method!
Exactly @DjMell26 each one has a style and way of working, but do you agree with me that regardless of this, this feature is missing?, the system has to indicate on the loading screen which track has already been played, this is a deficiency, me for example, I use the 4 loaded decks to save time, I don’t come to the wedding with defined playlists, each wedding has a different audience, older, younger, in short, I’ll feel the party when the guests start to arrive, what’s the problem and why so much controversy in one obvious thing, it is enough that on the loading screen the songs already played appear in “green” as already happens in the playlist, today, as it is, I also work normally, but we are here precisely to test, point out bugs, request resources and give suggestions.
What did it look like before the update?
Edit, i can see above on the photo, so the background screen was kind of semi translucent with decks visible.
In the loading screen in version 3.4.0, decks with songs already played were marked with “+”.
from 2019 to the beginning of 2024 see the end of 2023… there were just 4 boxes: 1/3 and 2/4.
The “+” indicated where you could load music and the deck that was reading had no “+”
IIRC on the Prime player separates, the whole static waveforms are not present on the bottom of the browser / library screen and I presume the loading boxes screen, and the load boxes don’t flip position like the dual deck view positions now finally correctly flip. This makes the direct load screen less useful than it would otherwise be.
I am very sad still waiting new version of firmware 4.1.0 I believe that Denon make something better for us ;p
I agree with you and hopefully a small update with all smaller issues will com very soon!
