So, in the States the running joke is that Californians don’t have an accent but everybody else does. Which area gets that “title” in the UK?

Im sure everyone else’s opinions will vary but I would put that on the area just North of London, Oxfordshire, Cambridgeshire etc… I associate that with people just being ‘posh’.

I can say one thing for certain, it’s definitely not where I live lol.
