X1800 with SC3900

Hi,

Just seeing if someone can answer my questions please? I have 2 SC3900’s and cannot afford the full Prime setup as of yet.and the first part will be the mixer. So my main question is this will the X1800 act like the network modem I use now to connect Mac to both players? And obviously they will connect by the digital phono connection. And is there any problems that might arise?

Yes, it will work just like the one you use now. You are loading tracks from Engine 1.5.2 to players?

Thanks for the quick reply, yes I am using that firmware. So looks like I can start my upgrade to the full prime setup. And thanks again for the advice. Cheers
