What was the last DJ related item you bought?

Hold up, How do you get music on to those players, i herad from some freinds that it as impossible to get music onto those players

You only need the Gemini Vcase software which is nowhere to be found to download and most probably very outdated

Looks slick! Enjoy yourself this weekend

Finally I got my self another of my dream mixers :star_struck:

Nice mixer but probably older than me

Oh man congrats!!! I wanted the Zero4 when it came out. That 8 looks awesome! <3

Very nice, I always fancied one of those or the Zero 4

Damn.. I had to Google the functionality of the EQ-selector knob.

Cool thing is, that eq selector is per channel. That means each channel can have completely different EQ. 2 aux busses also allow for some creative stuff

Ooh I seem to remember that having a bit of a bad reputation back in the day.

Congratulations, I had the Zero 4 back then – a dream machine. I’d still buy a well-preserved Zero 4 today – if only it weren’t for the driver issues on Macs – and finding a well-preserved model is extremely difficult – the chance of getting spare parts is probably zero.

I had two Zero4s back in the day, and my buddy had the Zero8.

circa’ 2008

Zero 4 was another mixer I really wanted to get. But somehow I never had a chance to get it.

Well, this model I just got, unfortunately has an issue with touch screen, so has to go back to the previous owner. He stated, all is good with the mixer, and the digitizer was replaced. Does not work, so I can’t even enter the settings… Audio works, though… Well, turns out to be a major disappointment for me… At least I was happy for a moment.

What did I learned from this? Mixers with 100% touch screen only menu system will be unusable when touchscreen fails and there is no spare parts to be found. I did fix the PSU on that zero 8 (almost all caps were dried out on the secondary side of the transformer). Voltages were unstable (specially -18V line). The traces on PSU PCB were delaminating, so some of them needed refurbishing.

I also resoldered all components related to the touchscreen, that were above the PSU. That didn’t help. So to my big disappointment, the mixer goes back to it’s previous owner.

Sorry to hear about the disappointment dude. :frowning:

Well, it happens. Maybe better next time

I just wanted an analogue mixer in the mix to play with, while still having some flexibility, so I went for the Xone96.

Had it default for some time, but now I opted for a black DJskins:

Where did you got the dj skin from?

https://dj-skins.com of course. :innocent:

Their prices are absurd :open_mouth:

I hope the quality is better than a swiss watch.
