Waveform delay from hot keys

Hi,

When I jump to parts of a track using hotkeys, it can take a second or two to create the waveform. I recently sent my unit in for repair [ the hardware issue that causes screen freezing]. I wish I had not now because it was working fine turning power down to mid.

Does anyone know why the waveform on the decks are now a bit wobbly or jittery when playing and take a second or two to reform when hitting a hotkey?

I am absolutely certain it was not like this before I sent to repair. It feels like there is not enough processing power

If your 8000 didn’t have the latest firmware in it, when it was sent in, they probably upgraded it. That upgrade pushed a lot into the 8000, so it does have more to think about.now.

But, have you tried switching “quantise” off ?
