USB not found on mixstream pro

Hi, I have the Numark Mixstream Pro and have just purchased a pre-loaded USB from a DJ. However when i insert into USB port, nothing shows in source. I’m only able to stream from soundcloud

Have you checked the USB stick on a laptop? Most likely it needs to be formated to fat32

Thanks. I can see all the music on my chrome book, just can’t get it onto the Mixstream Pro. The other issue is I can’t download engine DJ to chromebook, hence why I got the stand alone Mixstream pro

I doubt a Chromebook is supported.

Best thing to do then is delete everything on it, as that sounds distinctly dodgy.

A) DJs should not be selling copyrighted music (it’s possibly downloaded illegally) B) You should be buying from a licensed retailer, not another DJ

Copy the tracks from usb to your laptop, then reformat the usb to a compatible format (search the forum for info on what settings needs to be other than fat32).
