Will the enginedj stems work over Wi-Fi using my prime 2 as my music source ?
You mean STEMS being played back from the local computer? Or are you asking about STEMS for streaming music?
Music stored on my laptop but using Wi-Fi to play on my prime 2. Will the stems work that way or will they need to be on usb drive ?
So far, you’ll have to put them on a USB.
Good question. I would think that if the stem files are on the computer, it should work. Probably depends on how much data is sent over wifi with each track.
it would come especially handy for the time being while Stems® cant be listened though the desktop software. Checking the generated track on my Mixstream without having to export it would be a great workaround.
I tried it- it doesn’t work- plays stems tracks as normal tracks.
To be honest that would be an amazing feature, to be capable of creating stem file on the fly while playing, without the need to have whole database stems ready.
