Just out of curiosity.
Do we know if SC6000 and Prime 4 are based on the same CPU or have the same processing power ?

If so there could be a lot of additions/features which will arrive in the future. Consider that Prime 4 is providing 4 decks + audio mixing + effects. A SC6000 with two layer should be far away from its limits.

Mmmmm … Good question. Would be nice to know the processor type, size, number of threads, and memory size in both units.

Surely cant be a major threat to national security to know such info.

Might even be U.S.P’s ???

Ok that answers the processor type. Lol . Curious as to memory size now.

Cheers for that @djdragon .

What is the memory size on the ddr3 banks totalling (as in how much ram is up its bum)

4gb MAX for the Rockchip RK3288. I’m going to do some kitchen math and guess based on OEM bulk pricing in the 1000’s they probably have 2gb.

2GB seems legit considering the Akai MPC/Force series share the same RK3288 + RAM.
