Reloop flux Deon sc5000 x1800 connection

So along with my SC5000s And my X1800 I have a reloop flux I use this to connect to Serato to access Serato DJ pro however when I try to connect everything works as normal, but I cannot go up and down in BPN and I also cannot go back and forward in the song on the jog wheel

Do you have Serato on internal mode and the decks connected via HID to Serato?

Remember to disable the keylock on your players otherwise serato will not recognize the signal correctly.

But you should just use your players directly in HID mode (computer). No point in using the reloop flux in the equation here.

if @Collyer_DJ does not have the standalone Serato DJ license they would need the FLUX to unlock Serato DJ. (hardware unlock), the X1800 does not unlock full Serato

Are you using DVS timecode signals -as @Gaian suggested deactivate Keylock on the players and switch to REL mode in Serato.

alternatively as @Gaian suggested use HID mode aka Computer mode on the 5000s.

Indeed you are absolutely right, I had not considered this scenario at all. In my mind I imagined that the x1800 probably had to unlock serato, but indeed this is not the case.

In this situation wouldn’t it be just simpler and more convenient to just plug in the Flux to unlock Serato and switch the SC5000s to computer mode afterwards? It could take advantage of file browsing directly from the players.
