Prime 4 screen burn-in

Is it worth merging all 4 or 5 topics that Vandetta has necroposted onto?

If there is a un-retaining action suggested, it would be nice to have it mentioned in just one place that can be linked to, if there are any future happens.

I thought about that, but that would mean the OP loose their topics and it becomes one big unreadable mess.

@Vandetta, image retention, I think, is something that is just there because of used screen type. LCD should have way less ghosting and burn-in than other screen types, but still it can happen. I understand it’s a big problem that perhaps only hardware support can resolve, but please try to stick to your own topic.

@Reese Point taken. I am just trying to bring awareness. It seems this subject gets “ignored” and again I have no real answers. I’m lost are you saying this is supposed to happen? It just doesn’t make sense.

No, I’m saying that LCD can have permanent burn-in. People forget that, thinking LCD is free from burn-in.

It is not supposed to happen, because of normal image retention, it should get back to normal.
