Hi All, I was watching the review of the new Numark unit that uses engine 2.0. It was stated that as part of this software upgrade, they have introduced the long requested feature of return to start of track by hitting shift/cue together. great move! However I have the Prime Go and this feature doesnt work?
Does this work on any other units? prime 2/4 etc? or anyone else prime Go?

Currently Prime Go, Prime 2 and Prime 4 work like this:. During playback, press and hold Shift and press this button to set the initial cue point at the current playhead position.
Must also be noted that Prime 2 and Prime.4 have the track skip buttons to go to the beginning of a track
Mixstream Pro works like this: Press and hold Shift and then press this button to return to the beginning of the track
For the Go it would probably make sense to make it a setting to choose between 2 options in a future update.
While I don’t generally use this function as I always put a cue point at the beginning of the track, I can understand that if all other devices, including the Mixstream Pro offer this and people have got used to using it.
It does make me wonder if certain things, eg Vu for each deck on the Prime Go for some reason can’t be implemented, or otherwise surely would have been done by now?
Not trying to call this out, but if it cannot be done then someone just needs to say.
