New songs added to the Beatport playlist are not syncing to the SC Live 4

I was at a wedding last weekend, and a couple of guests made song requests. I was using the SC Live 4, by the way. I added the songs to a Beatport playlist via my phone. The playlist showed up on the SC Live 4, but it appeared empty (no music). Then I tried adding the songs to an existing playlist, but they didn’t show up there either. I tried switching sources—going from my SD card to Beatport and back—and navigating within the Beatport menu on the left all the way back to the main page (where the Top 100 and such are listed) before returning to my playlists. Still, the songs didn’t appear. Does anyone have a solution for this, or did I do something wrong?

My recommendation would be to select a different playlist within Beatport and then go back to this playlist, and you should see the tracks in it then

So, should I tap on a different playlist on my phone and then go back to the actual playlist, or should I do it on the device itself?

Isn’t it a bug, then, if it doesn’t synchronize?

This might be Beatport messing up the syncs and logins a bit. What happens if you completely shut down the app on your phone and then log in to Beatport on your SC Live 4?

Sorry, just to clarify, I meant to tap on a new playlist on your SC Live 4, and then come back to the beatport playlist that you have just updated. This will trigger a refresh message to be sent to beatport so that we get the latest track content that’s available in that list.

Of course, if there is a problem at beatport’s end and that list hasn’t been updated yet, then we won’t be able to get the content of that list on the device. But this method is the best way to get your playlist to refresh on the device as you are making changes in real time on your streaming provider.

I test this but its not working did I do something wrong. Here is a video for clarification. I did this on my PC because i have to record with my phone but the same behavior. I already included a title during the first recording attempt, but as you can see here, that track isn’t showing up either.

Thank you for providing a video. This explains it much better. I can definitely see the issue that you’re having, and I’m able to reproduce this as well. I went back to an older release version and still saw the same thing, so I’m curious to know if this worked for you previously, or you have only just noticed that this isn’t working for you now?

I think that this has always worked for Tidal, but maybe not for Beatport. Anyway, I found the workaround is to restart the device, and I know that’s not helpful in the middle of your gig. But it seems we only check the contents of your Beatport playlists when the device first boots up.

Keep an eye on this space though because we have an interesting development coming up that will help you to refresh your streaming playlists in a future release…

Thank you so much! I’m curious to see how it goes. Unfortunately, I can’t say how it was with earlier versions or if it ever worked at all, as I’ve only been using it myself for a short time.
