Hello, good evening. Does anyone use wireless microphones connected directly to the Prime 4+? If I turn the volume up high, there are cutouts, and if I turn it down, it’s impossible to hear. I don’t have any problems with a wired microphone. Any ideas, please? Thank you.
Are you feeding mic level or line level from the wireless?
For my part, I use two Sennheiser EW100 G4 wireless microphones, I have set my two HF receivers to -18db, I also have 2 Shure SLXD24DE-B58 wireless microphones, they are also set to -18db, as for the settings in my Prime 4 and P4+, I have disabled the Threshold on Mic 1 and Mic 2, Talkover Level is set to -27 db and the attenuation is at 0db.
Um using a shure blx24, but are set To -6 .
I think is the original configuration.
Maybe That’s the problem.
Most likely the threshold setting / auto ducking is causing the clipping
It could also be that the radio mic receiver has an adjustable output level and perhaps that output level is set too high
