Can anybody tell me if the meta quest 3 and djay pro app works with the prime 4 plus or only the prime 4?would love to know how its working for whoever has that setup. Currently i read it doesn’t support the prime 4 plus I’m wondering if that has changed ?
As the Plus is 99.9% the same as the original 4, it’s probably down to something as simple as the USB product ID (PID) presumably being different for the Plus.
As they’ve already mapped the Prime 4, I’d suggest posting on the Algoriddim forum and requesting support. It may be as simple as adding the PID to the existing mapping, so the software recognises that it’s a Plus.
If you saw the Mojaxx video of him touring their offices, they have a lot of controllers, so maybe they just don’t have a 4+
I have been researching this few days now …waiting on response from denon support. I just need i definitely yes it works, before i invest in such a thing.tech theses days have a way of displaying the possibilities without actual results. Like yeah list of controllers it works with but since pioneer is our goto we’ll just advertise on it . Even digital dj tips was using a different poineer controller to show off with.
Oh so you don’t actually have a Prime 4+?
My response was based on you having a Plus, so you could provide them with the PID and work with them on support.
I have a plus…my issue is meta quest seems to only work on the prime 4 … but all of what i found out hasn’t been updated to include the plus
Oh right, it wasn’t clear as you only mentioned investing in “such a thing” without specifying what the thing was.
Post on their forum and see if they can assist.
I guess that’s all i can do
I know this is a thing that Atomix do sometimes for mapping in VirtualDJ. If Atomix don’t have the controller themselves, they work with someone who has the unit, to map it.
I have been watching the mojaxx video over and over it seems to be the best evidence of it working.i just needed to be sure spec wise. Thanks for your help.
