Hi folks,

I’m a pretty lazy guy and don’t like spending too much time in Engine Desktop, so I built a tool for myself. I recently had to update it for version 5.0 because album art for newly added tracks is no longer stored in the database.

My database used to be around 700 MB. With my tool, all album art is converted to external files for better performance, and now the database is only about 10 MB.

Another thing my tool does is write comments and ratings back into the audio file tags. That way, if I ever need to rebuild the database because it becomes corrupted, I won’t lose any of my work.

Next step, while I’m at it, is exporting cue points and loops to tags as well.

where to find your tool mate. thx in advance

sounds pretty nice, keen to check it out. i jam building a companion tool for engine. since my library is getting too big, i want to have on hand any links.. or songs that i have payed before, like matching track. analized moods and genres and so on. and sugestions, and more visual way to understand libraries.

i have to do more testing, I don’t want mess up someones library.
