Ive had my Denon for four years now and have always had the same problem, i go to my mates studio where he lets me practice on his CDJ’s, ive found that all equipment is almost the same and have found myself on all different types controllers out live playing, i always ask before hand what are we playing on? Then just do a quick internet search and find the manual vidoe, your biggest worry out playing live, does the equipment work! So many times now ive found equipment with broken channels, buttons, hence why being able to use the Old Skool methods help in such situations. Just practice with a friends equipment or practice by watching vidoes online. Im in no way an exspert, just an amature who is lucky enough to get out live a few times a month.
