# How to download firmware

I just purchased the Denon SC5000 and needed to install the update. I download the firmware updates as instructed and put the player update firmware page and get an error on my PC saying there is no SC5000 prime is detected. What kind of cord do I use because I brought 2 USB data transfer cables and they don’t work. What cables do I use and what are the exact instruction (which USB port to use on the player if it matters). Thanks

There should be one in the box you can use. Connect it to the USB OUT on the player then it goes into a spare usb slot into your laptop/PC.
