Gates cues for the SC6000

I’ve seen gated cues being used on the latest CDJ3000X, I have been told the SC6000 has this but from having these decks. I can not find a way to do this on the settings. I think for messing around, gated cues would be highly beneficial, with a quick way to jump from not so hot cues to gated.. I know something like this can be easily added in a new update for users of the SC6000

Page 50 of the manual.

I would suggest maybe steering away from making statements like this.

I could just as easily say “I know reading the manual to learn how a device works is really easy for users of the SC6000”

My manual only goes to 38 pages and the information on the hot cues is on pages 27.

So I could easily say reading page 50 on a manual that’s 38 pages long would be pretty difficult.

But I’ve found out how to do it now so thanks for your not so helpful and at most, an arrogant response. It was really helpful of you. Not.

I was being facetious admittedly, but a bug bear of mine is shouting from the sidelines about how easy something must be. Which was reinforced by the fact it’s been on every single Denon product for about 2 decades and you hadn’t found it.

As far as the manual goes, here is a link to the latest one. Tab over to ‘engine OS’ and scroll down to 4.3.2 and look for the SC6000 then click on the icon that looks like a book.

I wonder if there are any other “easy to add” features … which are already there

Admittedly, with so many features and so many firmware updates, there are probably some features which weren’t in the original paper printed manual inside the box, which are only in the updated pdf copies of the manual.
