Having Issues Exporting on v5.01…
Anyone else having problems - Just states Exporting but nothing is moving/happening.
Any help is appreciated.
It took longer than normal for the “export to drive” button to highlight here (exporting to SSD mounted inside an SC6000), but after giving it a few minutes it worked (the usual pop-up saying that it would overwrite info already on the drive was a little slower than normal showing up too).
Export successfully completed now. I read that one of the main differences between 4.3.4 and 5.0.1 was the artwork being stored separately, maybe it takes some time to sort that out during the first exports after upgrading?
I also experience the same issue. Because for me, it’s an issue. For example, if you just change one song in one playlist (keeping the file on the drive), the export is still very long.
I also noticed that it takes some time just to “calculate” as soon as we click on the “export” button. In my opinion, it’s not normal.
EDIT : compared to the previous version, the cover arts are located elsewhere. You have to clean the library for that to happen.

Yeah looks like you are right… Just gonna take a bit of time.
hopefully it will be quicker next time I have to upload more tracks etc.
Just to follow up, after playing on the SC6000’s for a bit, I did another sync from the PC, a bundle of new songs + cue points on several existing songs: the export completed in <1min, so definitely looks like it’s just a longer transfer the first time after updating.
Interesting. So maybe it just happens once and for all after the 5.0 update. I have to test another sync and come back to the forum to confirm.
EDIT : indeed, after one long export, the following are quicker, as they were before the update
