Problems w Engine DJ 1 Text is entirely too small. Should be able to adjust text size in software. 2. Takes entirely too long to export files from Engine into Prime 4. 3. Overwriting previous tracks does not work all the time. 4. Cannot locate and delete all red tracks at 1 time. 5. Engine DJ Can not add 1 crate of music to internal ssd. have to redo entire library 6. Cue Points Not Chronological 7. No continuous playback 8. No Auto mix 9. No internal volume control in software
You should probably take a look around the feature requests section of the forum.
And in a couple of cases look at updating the version of the software/firmware you’re using, as it sounds like you’re on a version that is way out of date.
I agree in all your points. For some you can do at least a little bit:
Text size: Decrease the resolution of your screen. (On Mac you can directly do that in System Settings.)
Exporting tracks: That will always take so long. The software had to copy the full data of all songs (mp3) to your player. That can quickly be a looooooot! If you have >10.000 songs you can put a hard disk into your prime2/4. And then directly work with that.
Cue Points are in the order that you define them. If they are chronological is up to you. Some might want to have their queues not necessarily chronological, e.g. (Chorus and then only intro)
Auto mix is for kids (sorry
)
Internal volume control: There is no “internal” inside any DJ software. The operating system controls the master volume. (Always put that to 80% ! to have enough headroom, and control your main output volume with your master on your hardware DJ controller. Otherwise the sound technician will chop your head of
