there should be a way to edit and prelisten tracks from our online services like beatport or tidal inside engine
How long do you tend to pre-listen a locally stored track on your own hard drive for? 5 seconds? 10 seconds?
So all the Prime needs to do is store the first 10 seconds of every stream track 
there’s a few million … but only a few hundred in a set of search results - can’t take that long for a few hundred tracks to have 10 seconds of each downloaded. …. Surely….
And on that thought … is that 10 seconds always the very first 10 seconds of the track. Or would you need to pre-listen from anywhere in the track?
The pre listen works with Tidal, but it will need to download the track first when pressing play on pre list, so it’s not as fast as a stored file on your drive

This is part of what I hate about using streaming services, including using Engine DJ Desktop as a source.
