I just updates to Engine 5.0.4 and since doing so I no longer have the option as having my desktop as a source .
Is this correct ?
Updated Engine Desktop as well?

Unfortunately after installing the latest 5.0.4 version of EngineOS and the latest version of EngineDJ on MacOS, still the library does not show up on the players.

That’s how it used to be for me. Still nothing there.
That feels like it is the Mac stopping the network features of the software.
Check EngineDJ isn’t disabled in the Privacy and Security Settings in System Settings on OSX.

The weird thing is, EngineDJ is not on the list of applications that are allowed to find and communicate with devices on the local network, and there’s no way for me to add it to that list.
maybe it’s a bug on Macos 27. Dunno. I will keep on looking.
I’ve tried this and can cnfirm it doesn’t appear to be EngineDJ related.
It seems to be an issue with MacOS 27 (Golden Gate) which is in public beta and isn’t officially released yet, it was noted in the beta for 27 that applications are unable to access local network unless they are Apple apps at the moment. The popup and app allow options don’t appear.
The current released version of MacOS 26 (Tahoe) doesn’t have the issue from what I can see.
Yup, that was about my conclusion too. Oh well, they will probably fix it in either the public beta and of course final release. I guess that’s a downside of messing with the Developer Beta! 
edit: MacOS 27 Developer Beta 5 fixes this network issue, EngineDJ can connect to EngineOS devices again over local wifi! So that’s fixed.
