Bug Report: Devices prompting users to login to Engine Profile multiple times

I have two SC5000m’s and a Prime 4. Sporadically, when I turn on the units (typically when I’m accessing Tidal), the QR code will show and I have to pull out my phone and go through the ENGINE PROFILE login procedure again. This is quite annoying as it typically happens when I’m playing a gig.

I can’t see any pattern other than perhaps me owning multiple devices and the logic within ENGINE PROFILE seeing a conflict of multiple devices being logged in at the same time.

I hope this is addressed soon either through an update or a way to bypass the ENGINE PROFILE login altogether.

As I stated in the other thread it seems to happen if wifi signal is lost. Both saving to profile and streaming are affected.

Just curious @Homeland101. I saw your post in the other thread. Is the PrimeGo the only device you have or do you have multiple.

FYI - I decided to start another thread where the title was a bit more descriptive. Hopefully this will bring better attention to this issue. Thanks!

But it is irritating because once you are logged in there should be no reason for it to be disconnected.

I agree. Based on your answer the bug appears not to be caused by multiple device logins. Do you use any streaming services (i.e. Tidal)?

Yes, Tidal. Had to log in numerous times now. It’s a PITA so let’s hope for a quick fix.

LOL! Forgive me. I had to look up PITA! I agree. This issue happened with the release of 4.1.0. Hopefully there’s a quick fix or workaround released. I appreciate your feedback.

Fixed intermittent TIDAL login issues

Did they fix it in 4.2.0?

Just testing as we speak and it does seem to be fixed. I tried logging in to my phone hotspot, going out of range then connecting again and both Tidal and the Engine profile appeared to be still logged in.

Thanks to the devs for a quick fix on this one.
