I was in the middle of a Hawaiian Party set when Apple Music disconnected with a message that I needed to re-authorize with Engine DJ. Not happy! I needed Apple because I had no Hawaiian music on USB. I switched to backup USB for generic music. I couldn’t re-authorize because I need my iPad (not with me) to do so. ■■■!
That’s a network/Apple thing not a Denon thing, that’s the problem with streaming services. Reliant on stable network connections.
It wasn’t a network issue. I got the same message when I returned home. I had read that the latest Apple Music update had issues with the latest EDJ update. Luckily, I had already played Hawaiian music during the start of dinner. Nobody I asked noticed the switch. I don’t think it was a Numark or Dennon issue either.
IMO when you answer you try to look like you know everything… tested when apple is down on engine dj it still ok on serato etc. Sorry but it’s not Apple Music…. Sabelotodo. Como en una oportunidad a uno de mis isues comentaste que desactivara las luces…. No creo que sea una recomendación honesta el pedirme desactivar una función nativa para que “ todo trabaje bien” no te sientas ofendido. Solo no me agradan tus comentarios que no ayudan en nada.
The only actual legitimate gripe here to make is that you probably want some sort of indication when your music license will expire so you can plan accordingly.
You’re just digitally renting the track. This sort of problem will happen. It’s really not something to rely upon for serious work. Great to have in a pinch, sure, awesome for previewing music and experimenting, yes, but not to be the core of your professional gig! All things need a backup plan.
