Hi,
I’m looking for an Italian vinyl lover, that light be able to find a vinyl for me.
My bonus dad-in-law’s dad released a single in early or mid 50s, the good old “Oh Solo Mio” perhaps under the name Nino’s Quartet.
Singers name Gaetano Giordano (from Napoli)
If possible, it would mean the world to us if it could be found.
Best regards Engell

Hi Engell,
you can ask in the discogs forum, the best place for discographies on the web:
https://www.discogs.com/
There are many fantastic people who collect and catalogue all kinds of records.
You can apply filters to the database, for example set the country to Italy and the decade to 1950:
https://www.discogs.com/search/?limit=250&country_exact=Italy&decade=1950&page=1
If it is a single, it may be a 7" record:
https://www.discogs.com/search/?limit=250&country_exact=Italy&decade=1950&page=1&format_exact=7"
Since there are so many records out there, it may not be in the database yet. But I think that it is still worth asking there.
I hope that this helps you a little. Good luck on your quest!

I’ve had a poke around and most of the examples from that era seem to be 10” shellac records.
There looks to be one sung by a Nino Martini with the Howard Barlow orchestra.
Not sure if this helps.
Yes going by the date it’s probably a “glass” 78 record.
