i had been triying to open the software in my laptop but i cant. it has run before in the compter very well, but now i cant. shows a message, “A version Of Engine Dj is Already Runing”. help please

Did you perhaps use a second screen temporarily? Engine might be opening outside your laptop screen now.

Which OS and version do you use with EngineDJ?

Yes i use a second screen at home, but when i to to use the laptop outside can not work with that.

Ctrl+ Alt+ Delete. Here you can see if you have Engine running. Otherwise, you can close the program in this mode.

I had this happen to me once, I just shut my laptop off because normally I just set it to sleep & everything was fine after.

Luckily I wasn’t doing anything important with it at the time, all my tracks were still on my sd card in the mixstream pro go, I was just testing a few things really.

Check this post, perhaps it is the same problem:

Engine DJ is starting, but there is no windows

Open Engine and make sure it is open. press ‘Alt’ and ‘The Space Bar’. A little menu pops up, select ‘Move’ and now you are able to move the window using the keyboard arrows. This behavior can occur when you move Engine to another monitor and the next time you start Engine without the monitor connected. I hope this helps.
