Hi everyone, I’m new to the forum … I’m Italian so sorry for any grammatical errors … I just bought the 5000m and I can’t set the scratch as if it were a vinyl … basically to stop the track at engine running, I have to lock the plate under which it turns, and it is not enough to stop the 7 "vinyl … how do you set the player to work like a real turntable?

I’m not sure I follow your question. Are you asking how you lock the vinyl disc to the spindle? If so, make sure you align the set screw with the groove in the center spindle. You can read more about the vinyl disc assembly on page 4 of the User Guide.
